Robust Housing The small, ergonomic device is coated with an impact-resistant rubber housing and resistant to corrosive chemicals. The device has a stable and tightly fastening crocodile clip made of stainless steel to attach it safely to the clothing.
Equipped with a new sensor technology, the Pac 5000 warns fast and reliably against harmful concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide or oxygen. Due to the extremely short diffusion paths in the device and the very rapid electrochemical response times of the new sensors, the user is warned immediately against any occurring gas hazards. The sensor is positioned in the housing in such way that the gas entry is effected from top and front. This minimizes the risk of an unintentional covering of the gas access entry.
The built-in event logger stores up to 60 events, inclusive of the concentration information in each case. The data can be downloaded to a PC using the software Pac Vision, CC Vision or Gas Vision.
The user-friendly display continually and clearly informs of the concentration by means of large digits. The 2-button operation is easy and intuitive.
Once activated, the device is available for use maintenance-free for the time period as of two years. The Pac 5000 is supplied with power by means of a lithium battery, which can be replaced fast and easily.
